We've been working on this one for a while and are really excited to finally be able to make the official announcement....

Growing up in the 90s, one of my favorite ways to discover new bands was from compilation albums from my favorite record labels. New volumes of Epitaph Records' "Punk-O-Rama" series were always something that would get me out to a record store. I'd get to listen to all my favorite bands and there were always a few I'd never heard of that ended up becoming new favorites.

We've been wanting to offer something similar from WDI for a while, and today, we are happy to announce that Volume 1 of our new compilation series "World Domination" will be released in August. Each volume of "World Domination" will feature 4 bands from 4 different countries from around the globe. Each band will contribute 1 song, and the album will be released on a 7-inch vinyl record (with digital download card). "World Domination Volume 1" features a great mix of punk, hardcore, and emo-punk from Sidecar (Korea), Mable's Marbles (USA), DFMK (Mexico), and Social Circuit (Malaysia).

Copies of the record are currently in the mail on their way to each band in all four countries. Contact the band closest to you for information about ordering. Copies are very limited so make sure you grab one before they're gone, and keep an eye out for Volume 2, which will be ready in just a few months. ~Jeff
