2023 has already been an exciting year. We started the year with our first label showcase since before the pandemic. WinningShot and …Whatever That Means both toured in Japan. …Whatever That Means released their “Singles 2009-2023” album, and in just two weeks, IT’S A FEST! will finally be returning to Muuido.
 
On top of all of that, we can finally announce the exciting news that Long Time No Shit is joining the WDI family. We first saw LTNS about 5 years ago at Club SHARP and immediately fell in love. Unfortunately, they were about to start their mandatory military service later that month. Fast forward a few years, and I don’t think we’ve missed one of their shows since they got out of the army, and we’ve loved every second of it.
 
To say this band has a lot of energy on stage doesn’t do them justice. They play an absolutely infectious type of punk rock that sounds like Jeff Rosenstock and Green Flame Boys spent a summer listening to lots of Weezer. It’s wild and melodic, and the live performances only make it better. To top it all off, they make it all even more fun with some of the funniest DIY music videos we’ve seen in a long time.
 
Long Time No Shit recently released their first full length album (available on streaming now) and will have their official release show in July. Before that, they’ll be special guests at IT’S A FEST! Acoustic Night on Friday June 16th. We’re beyond stoked to welcome them to the WDI family. Make sure you check them out this summer.
